Known as “The Being of Knowledge”, it is said to have the power to wipe out the memory of those who look into its eyes. Therefore it has its eyes closed; moving and on the battlefield. So instead, it uses telekinetic abilities to figure out what's going on. Even though Uxie may look like it is sleeping and means no harm if bothered, it actually may be closing its eyes, deep in thought. In the legendary trio, Uxie takes a defensive position. This small Pokémon’s name comes from the word pixie, a small mythical creature, and "you", U being short for it. The other members of the Psychic-type Lake Trio, Mesprit and Azelf, represent "me" and "us". In addition, Uxie’s “golden helmet” resembles a human brain, hence the fact that it is the being of knowledge. This Pokémon in the trio sleeps at the bottom of Lake Acuity.
